Hello,
A SIP Trunk is a group of SIP channels, where each channel handles one incoming or outgoing call, much like a traditional analog telephone line. The difference is that a SIP channel is a virtual connection that routes voice traffic to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) through the provider’s gateway. Sometimes SIP channels are referred to as sessions, lines or concurrent calls.
